Incorporated in 1975, the company is 100% Canadian owned. The company grew by supplying equipment to new capital projects in the pulp and paper industry in Western Canada. The scope of supply has since widened and Axton now supplies a variety of industries including mining, oil and gas, chemical, and power.

Axton has maintained ASME Section VIII, Division 1 registration for more than twenty years and achieved ISO 9001 certification in 1997.

Steel Fabricator

The successful candidate will have 5 years experience in steel and alloy fabrication for pressure vessels and heavy equipment manufacture.
Wage incentives for Level II (+) Safety qualifications.

Welder

The successful candidate will have 5 years experience in steel and alloy welding for pressure vessels and heavy equipment manufacture. Minimum Level B Ticket required.

Machinist

The successful candidate will have 5 years experience in a machining / manufacturing environment. Required in-depth knowledge of conventional and CNC Boring Mill practices for a variety of steels and specialty alloys.
